A total of 16.000 security officials – between the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and State agencies – are deployed in the country's regions to deal with the rain situation.
The Minister for the Interior, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos indicated that this deployment is carried out after joint work with the governorates and mayors.
Ceballos indicated that a rainy plan to address the situation region by region. "The Venezuelan people already have regional plans for immediate attention," Ceballos stressed.
The also sector vice president of Citizen Security and Peace reported that the work will be carried out in the eight regions of the country.
Earlier, Ceballos announced the activation of the National Risk Management Plan, to pay attention to the arrival of the rains.
Last Monday, the National government, Through the State security agencies, it ordered the operational deployment of the National Risk Management System to guarantee the life and peace of the people in the face of the upcoming rainy season.
Ceballos met with the members of the Vice Presidency for Security and Peace to coordinate the deployment.
