Civil Registry provides continuous services respecting biosafety standards

This first stage ends next Sunday, January 31, when the application deadline expires.

The Electoral Power, in compliance with what is established in Article 293, ordinal 7 of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, informs the community that the Civil Registry for the submission of applications for birth and death registrations remains in permanent operation. , under strict biosecurity measures to prevent Covid-19.

In the weeks of flexibility, the public is attended from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., for the registration of births and deaths, as well as marriages and stable de facto unions and delivery of certified copies.

Meanwhile, during the weeks of radical quarantine, only requests for registration of births and deaths are handled, from 8 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon.

It is important to note that during the weekends, the National Electoral Council also has guard registration units, for the due care of deaths that occur between Friday afternoon and Monday dawn.
