The Ministry of Popular Power for Transportation (Mppt) announced this Tuesday the total closure of the Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro Highway in Caracas, specifically in the section heading Plaza Venezuela-Catia, due to the rehabilitation work on the San Agustín footbridge.

This was reported by the Mppt in its X network account, where it highlights that the work will be carried out on July 9 and 10, in order to guarantee optimal road service in the capital.

“The community is informed that due to rehabilitation work on the San Agustín walkway, located on the Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro Highway, in the Capital District, the total closure of section I, towards Plaza Venezuela-Catia, will be carried out from 09 until July 10, from 8 pm to 5 am,” says the notice published on the digital network.

Likewise, they invite the users of the main expressway in Caracas to take preventive measures against the work carried out by the Mppt working class, "in guarantee of their well-being and safety."
