• 1 cup of rice

The rice is washed and placed in a glass or clay container, the rice is soaked overnight in two cups of water, covered with a cloth. The next day, it is parboiled and once the grain opens, let it rest and cool. Half the rice is liquefied with about 3 cups of cold water, 6 tablespoons of sugar and / 2 tablespoons of orange blossom water. Then the same is repeated with the other half of the rice that remains. It is strained with a fine strainer and the sugar is rectified. Finally, the red dye droplet is added. It is served very cold to remove the heat.
