Cambur and walnut cake

An irresistible and very healthy delight


• 3 ripe bananas

• 150 g of brown sugar

• 3 eggs

• 200 ml of vegetable oil

• 1 teaspoon baking powder

• 200 g of wheat flour

• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

• 100 g of chopped walnuts


We heat the oven to 180°, in a large bowl we mash the ripe bananas with a fork until we obtain a puree without lumps. To this puree we add the brown sugar and the eggs and mix everything until we obtain a homogeneous mass, then we add the vegetable oil and continue mixing.

Separately, we sift the flour, yeast and cinnamon over the dough and mix gently until all the ingredients are integrated. Then we add the chopped walnuts and stir lightly to distribute them evenly in the dough.

Pour the dough into the prepared mold and spread it evenly with the help of a spatula.

Bake for approximately 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Once ready, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the mold for a few minutes before removing it from the mold. Once ready, cut it and serve.
