A little more than 750 families from the Rómulo Gallegos community in Camaguán, Esteros de Camaguán municipality in Guárico state, now have the vital liquid through pipes, thanks to the activation of the drinking water well located in the area.
Among the works carried out in this underground fountain, the installation of a pump and a 10 Hp motor, cleaning, gauging and placement of 10 bags of number 2 gravel stand out.
This was reported by the mayor of the municipality, Emilio Ávila, highlighting at the same time that this well allows a total of 12 liters per second to be obtained, for the benefit of the inhabitants of the sector.
The municipal president affirmed that these actions took place in coordination with the state government and the Ministry of Water, headed by Minister Rodolfo Marco Torres.
"Thank you, Governor, for all the support that you have been giving us in each of the development areas of our municipality, for the commitment that you have been assuming towards the management here in the Esteros de Camaguán. Teamwork guarantees us the victory and development of our municipality”, he expressed.
In this sense, the first authority of the state, José Vásquez, through his accounts on social networks, indicated “we are rehabilitating and building deep water wells to improve the service of the vital liquid. We do not rest and we advance day after day”.
Las Mercedes del Llano has another activated water well
In the Altos de Palma community, located in the Las Mercedes del Llano parish, Juan José Rondón municipality, the drinking water well was reactivated, which provides a vital service to the inhabitants of this llanera town.
In this context, the engineer Félix Torres, sole water authority in the region, said that a new 10 Hp motor and PVC pipes were installed in this well.
“This is added as well number 10 that has been reactivated in the Juan José Rondón municipality so far in 2023, in addition to 7 fountains that have been put into operation throughout the Las Mercedes del Llano parish to benefit its inhabitants”, said the also president of the Páez Hydrological.
For his part, the mayor of the entity, Raúl Rangel, asserted that "this community had a little more than a year without having the vital liquid through pipes, so we are happy with this positive and effective response."
In the same way, he thanked the national and regional authorities for the work carried out, in order to guarantee the maximum well-being of the Rondon families.
