Students return to face-to-face classes in the regions

This Monday, January 10, after the December holidays, face-to-face classes resume at all educational levels of basic and diversified education at the national level, in compliance with the biosafety protocols for the prevention of covid-19.

In Falcón state, with great expectations, the educational sector returned to the classrooms, although few students responded to the summons made by the President of the Republic and the educational zone. 

In a tour of various institutions of Coro it was found that the capacity was low. 

In the Simoncito Initial Education Center (Ceis) Rómulo Gallegos to the west of the city, they barely reached an enrollment of 35 children out of 120 enrolled. In the center, the Santa Ana Catholic School served 73 primary school students out of the 180 regular ones. 

At the general secondary level, the Pedro Curiel Robinsonian Technical School reached 84 young people, while the Cecilio Acosta high school managed to receive 102 students. 

The teachers alleged that the first week of the start of classes regularly has this behavior, however, they estimate for the next week to start fully with the teaching of academic content, while they will dedicate these days to review. 

They maintained that according to the indications of the educational zone they will maintain the multimodal and intermodal scheme, that is, by groups and the exceptions for remote medical situations. 

They stressed that even when the students have been vaccinated, they comply with their biosecurity measures, referring to the use of masks and alcohol on their hands. 

Infrastructure delivery 

For his part, the state governor, Víctor Clark, began the continuation of the 2021-2022 school period with the reopening of the “Héctor Manuel Peña” Early Childhood Education Center and the “Héctor Manuel Peña” Primary School in the Bolívar sector of Punto Fijo , Carirubana municipality. 

Together with the Unique Education authority of the entity, Marelys Castro, and Mayor Abel Petit, they delivered the recovery and comprehensive rehabilitation of the spaces for the benefit of 400 students. 

In the back-to-school activity, the authorities handed over a kit of school supplies, as well as uniforms to the students.

For his part, Castro emphasized that everything is given for the reception of the more than 3 registered students in the region to continue with training and learning in this pandemic stage, which thanks to the measures taken by the national Executive of prevention and vaccination can be given safely.

In Carabobo

More than 1.500 educational establishments in Carabobo began this Monday, the second face-to-face pedagogical moment after the Christmas holiday. 

From the "Güere" Basic School in Naguanagua, Aymara Aguiar, director of the Educational Zone in the entity, reported that more than 70% of the teaching, administrative and worker personnel attended the classrooms. 

"We are in the second pedagogical moment and in the programming of the activities of the month of Teacher's Day, according to the 10 vertices of the safe and progressive start of classes 2021-2022, framed in the Victoria Bicentennial Plan", he pointed out. 

Aguiar assured that within the framework of Teacher's Day it is estimated to celebrate the customary Eucharist, sports days and the meetings of the Voz Magisterial and Liceísta.

He also reported that next week the Campo Carabobo Educational Complex and the Luisa Cáceres de Arismendi Initial Education Center will be inaugurated in the Diego Ibarra municipality. 

Likewise, the director of the Educational Zone affirmed that the anti-covid 19 vaccination days will be resumed, with the application of the first, second and third doses of the Sinopharm and Abdala vaccines.

La Guaira

In the state of La Guaira, face-to-face classes began in more than 315 public and private educational schools that make life in the entity.

Daniel González, Unique Education authority in La Guaira, indicated that around 85 thousand students of the entity will be vaccinated against covid-19 and it will begin with children older than 2 years of age onwards.

González assured that to date 20% of the student population have been vaccinated, “today we return to classes under the face-to-face modality; the Every Family One School program is maintained for some distance assessments; with a view to vaccinating 100% of the students, starting now with children over 2 years of age ”. 

The Single Authority highlighted that 9.369 students over 12 years of age have been vaccinated, which represents 20% of the student population, as well as 100% of the vaccinated teaching, administrative and worker staff of the schools.

“To date there have been no sources of contagion in the schools of La Guaira; The biosecurity brigades in each school remain active, for the disinfection of entrances and exits or suspected cases of covid-19, as well as for the articulation with the nearby health centers for the follow-up of cases and other health care ”, said Gonzalez.

Nelson Ruiz, head of the Educational Zone No. 14, reported that more than 70% of the educational institutions of the entity complied with the resumption of face-to-face activities and biosafety measures normally.

«In this second pedagogical moment that began on September 15 and continues on January 10, 23 boys, girls and adolescents are being incorporated into the educational establishments of the 181.000 municipalities of the entity, in the different educational levels, initial, primary, secondary, middle and high school, in addition, 159 school circuits were activated ", explained Ruiz.

"In the case of the Liceo Libertador Bolivariano, located in the center of the city of Mérida, it registers an enrollment of 470 students who join their face-to-face activities this Monday," Ruiz said.

Likewise, he indicated that 280 educational units will be rehabilitated in a preventive manner, of which 18 schools were served in 2021.

Ruiz pointed out that the disinfection days of the educational establishments are carried out by officials of the Mérida State Fire Department and Civil Protection to guarantee prevention and avoid the spread of covid-19. Likewise, the anti-covid vaccination process will be resumed for students and explained that in the case of teachers, the third dose will be applied. Up to 40.000 students have been vaccinated.

School safety plan

In this return to classes, a security system is deployed around the educational institutions in order to guarantee the tranquility of students, teaching, administrative and worker personnel.

She emphasized that the vaccination of students of all levels and modalities continues from the age of 2, complying with the national guidelines for the prevention of covid-19.

Miranda

More than 30 educational institutions in the state of Miranda were visited by members of the different units of the Zone 44 Command of the Bolivarian National Guard (CZGNB-44), this Monday, reported G / B Félix Arnos, head of the military unit in the entity.

In the state of Trujillo, the 1086 educational institutions opened their doors to receive more than 150 thousand students from the initial, primary, general secondary and special education levels, after the break for the Christmas holidays.

This was announced by the head of the Educational Zone Lirosbeya Torres, who stated that in each of the schools, biosafety measures are being followed to prevent covid-19.

"We are guaranteeing the fundamental right of education and in our state of Trujillo all educational institutions of different levels and modalities are activated, thus estimating the participation of our seedbed of the homeland in its reactivation of the 2021-2022 school year," she indicated.

At the Eloísa Fonseca Bolivarian School, located in the Valera municipality, Torres said that from the early hours of this Monday she observed the enthusiasm of the students when they returned to their classrooms accompanied by their parents and representatives.

“Our campaign is to ensure that our children are exercising their right to education but with care and biosecurity measures. In Trujillo state we have 1086 educational institutions, all of which are activated in a co-responsible manner, guaranteeing non-overcrowding in educational institutions (…) Our teachers are an example for their students in complying with and guaranteeing the prevention protocol ”, she explained .
