The event was held in tribute to Professor Aristóbulo Istúriz, whose name was carried by this promotion to honor the politician who contributed so much to Venezuelan education.
Minister Piñate reflected on the decisive aspects of this school year, such as the implements that students receive and technology, but emphasized that the most important thing has been the organizing power of the people.
“What is decisive are the men and women, the students, the teachers. The school-family-community plan is what has made this school year successful. It is the conscience that is decisive in the organization ”, said the minister.
The highest educational authority in the country highlighted that 389.983 students passed initial education, 435.446 passed primary school and 370.188 graduated from high school and middle school technicians.
Vice President Delcy Rodríguez sent a hug to the graduates, their parents and representatives on behalf of President Nicolás Maduro. "Today is a day of celebration, not only for you, but for the entire country," he said.
The senior official stressed that today the high school graduates “have already guaranteed their university space. In the fourth republic the policy of high school graduates without quota was established, they had curtailed the dreams of the youth.
