Social movements and political parties of the Great Simón Bolívar Patriotic Pole presented this Saturday their proposals for the consolidation of the Historical Bloc of the Bolivarian Revolution.
Spokesperson Demetria Casimira listed some of the proposals, among them: promoting the communes as a premise of the Historical Block, incorporating the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) and the Militia, strengthening the State structures in production and public services; that the workers assume the control of public management and create a scientific council of the working class.
Likewise, create a political council of the bloc and that the GPP be summoned to the Council of State, the Federal Council of Government and other instances of power.
The Sectorial Vice President for Social and Territorial Socialism, Aristóbulo Istúriz, pointed out that for the elaboration of the proposals, “the 25 social sectors organized in the Revolution and in the Patriotic Pole with almost a hundred social movements and the nine parties that make up the the Polo Patriótico, to deepen the construction of the historic block ».
"We convened about 300 spokespersons here in Caracas in person, with almost 200 rooms throughout the country, and 52 international spokespersons connected," Istúriz said.
He explained that an agenda was developed and based on it, each of the five dimensions raised by President Chávez were analyzed.
In this sense, he specified that Diosdado Cabello was in charge of the political dimension; William Castillo of the economic; Ricardo Meléndez of the territorial; Gustavo Pereira on the ethical, moral and cultural dimension of socialism; and he (Istúriz) of the social dimension.
He explained that they produced four documents collectively: The role of social movements in the construction of the historical bloc and construction of socialism, The role of political parties, The role of workers in the construction of the historical bloc and construction of socialism, and The flags of struggle of the social movements before the National Assembly.
