May on a helicopter flight, reports the official Iranian agency IRNA.

Hosein Esmaili told a television station that, around 1 in the afternoon, there was good, clear weather and without any special meteorological phenomenon, “the flight to Tabriz began.”

After 45 minutes of flight, a spot-shaped cloud was observed near a mine in a valley. The pilot of the helicopter carrying the president informed the other pilots to climb up to reach the clouds.

After 30 seconds of continuing to fly above the clouds, our pilot realized that the president's helicopter had disappeared.

Since the helicopter did not go up, our pilot immediately turned around and returned. I asked him why you came back. He said the president's helicopter had not come up; He decided to turn around and find them. We also, in this part that was cloudy, did not see the ground below us, it was not possible to return below the clouds, no matter how much we tried to establish radio communication, it was not possible. A minute or two later, we landed at Songoon Copper Mine and continued searching.

We tried calling the foreign minister and the security chief, but neither answered.

The flight crew said they had called Captain Mostafavi, who answered and said he was unwell and that they had fallen into a valley and did not mention anything in particular. Then, I called with the same phone number and the representative of the Líder in the province, Mohammad Ali Ale-Hashem, responded. I asked him how he was, and he said that he was not well and that he was in pain and that they had fallen between the trees. I asked about the other companions, he said that he didn't see any of them and that there was no one near him, and that the forest was dense.

The rescue teams immediately headed towards the area that we had estimated to be the accident site. Later, when we were able to find the site of the accident, the conditions of the bodies showed that the president and the other companions had lost their lives immediately, but Ale-Hashem lost his life after a few hours, reported the state agency IRNA.
