Maduro celebrates the Day of the Musician with congratulations to the System

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, commemorated the International Musician Day, which is celebrated every November 22, the date on which Santa Cecilia, patron saint of musicians, is commemorated.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, the head of state congratulated once again the National System of Orchestras and Youth and Children's Choirs of Venezuela, who on Saturday were recognized as the Largest Orchestra in the World, by the Guinness Record.

Venezuela made history and entered the book of Guinness record as the largest Orchestra in the World, after bringing together more than 12.000 musicians in the Patio de Honor of the Military Academy, in Caracas.

Through a videoconference link, Susana Reyes, Guinnes World Records expert, reported this Saturday that the attempt was received for the challenge in question and stated that Venezuela imposed a new mark by surpassing the previous one established by the Russian Federation, which held the title of largest orchestra for deploying 8 musicians.

After achieving the feat, the National President delivered the Order "Liberators and Liberators of Venezuela" to the National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs of Venezuela, in its First Class.
