Maduro: Bolivia taught the world a lesson with a great victory

"Bolivia has just taught the world a lesson with votes, that is why we must turn the elections in Venezuela into a great victory for Venezuelan peace and democracy, in front of the world," the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela said this Thursday. Nicolás Maduro, highlighting the recent victory of the Movement Toward Socialism (MAS), and its president-elect of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Luis Arce, against the coup, Donald Trump, Mike Pompeo and against the self-styled Lima Group.

"It is a great victory for the dignity of the conscience of rebellion, of the perseverance of the Bolivian people, of Latin America and South America," he said.

In his opinion, Almagro should resign because he is guilty of the coup in Bolivia. “Almagro shouted fraud to justify the coup in Bolivia, and now we are talking about Venezuela. Someday justice will come to you, "said the president.

With the overwhelming and unobjectionable support of the majority of Bolivians, the MAS option ratified that what happened in the 2019 elections was a maneuver to displace the indigenous leader Evo Morales from power.

More than 7,3 million Bolivians elected the highest authorities of the country and Luis Arce, obtained the necessary votes to avoid a second round against the candidate of the Citizen Community, Carlos Mesa, according to the website enabled by the TSE computo.oep. org.bo.

The inauguration of the new president must take place between October 31 and December 30, and not on January 22 as was customary in recent years.
