Rafael Paredes was proclaimed by the CNE as mayor of Barinas

The regional authorities of the National Electoral Council proclaimed Rafael Paredes as mayor elected by the Great Patriotic Pole in the city of Barinas.

The event was held at the facilities of the Daniel Florencio O'leary High School with the presence of Iris Varela, campaign manager in the entity, leadership of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, councilors and representatives of the different institutions.

Paredes, who held the position of mayor in charge, was elected with 43.03% of the votes. During his speech, he thanked the support of the people and assured that he will focus his work on responding to the needs of the Barinese.

In addition, they were also proclaimed: Mayra Jaramillo in the Bolívar municipality, Salvador Guerrero as mayor of Sucre and Alexander Camacho in the Alberto Arvelo Torrealba municipality.
