Cojedes will soon have a new hemodialysis area

The rehabilitation of the hospital center is 70% complete.

A new hemodialysis area where around 70 kidney patients will be treated is being built in the Tinaquillo municipality of the Cojedes state.

The information was released by the doctor Maiker Ruíz, the sole Health authority in this Llanera entity, who also specified that kidney patients from this town will be treated in the space who are treated in the city of San Carlos, and in the states of Carabobo. and Yaracuy.

During a management balance of the first weeks of January 2021, the official pointed out that more than 3 consultations have been made between comprehensive and specialized in the Public Health Network of the Cojedes state.

In the same way, he said that the population continues to be served in matters of covid-19, carrying out PCR and PDR tests, as well as promoting and raising awareness on the subject.

Ruiz praised that both the health personnel and the network of community pharmacies continue to carry out arduous and loving work, bringing medicines for acute and chronic patients to the communities, through the “Salud va a tu Casa” Plan, which is deployed in the nine Cojedeño municipalities.

Infrastructure rehabilitation

In relation to the infrastructure advances that are made in the Egor Nucete hospital in San Carlos; Joaquina de Rotondaro in the Tinaquillo municipality and the José Gregorio Hernández de Rómulo Gallegos maternity hospital, pointed out that they are in 70, 60 and 90 percent of rehabilitation respectively.
