In that sense, the governor Rodolfo Marco Torres, detailed that it is about 14 jumbos, 8 payloder, 7 backhoes, 12 skid steers and 14 dump trucks and dump trucks, which will allow to enhance the approach in the 6 affected municipalities; Mario Briceño Iragorry, Mariño, Girardot, Francisco Linares Alcántara, Lamas and San Casimiro.
The governor of Aragua indicated that as part of the Comprehensive Attention Plan, a 180 HP motor was installed in the pumping station of La Punta that increased the water suction capacity to 400 liters per second, while work continues on the installation of a third engine, in order to increase the suction capacity to 2 liters per second, in order to mitigate the situation suffered by the families of La Punta, Mata Redonda, La Haciendita, La Esmeralda, La Esmeraldita, Los Cocos and San Luis, located south of Maracay, Girardot municipality, according to a press release review.
He added that in the Paraparal sector of the Francisco Linares Alcántara municipality, the installation of two more pumps is also being carried out, with 8 inches of suction, in order to improve the situation in the area that was also seriously affected by the rainfall.
Marcos Torres finally highlighted that the machinery arrived in the region on the instructions of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in conjunction with the Great Mission Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor.
