Ángel Marcano proclaimed as governor of Bolívar

This Wednesday, the National Electoral Council (CNE) handed over the credentials to Ángel Marcano as the new governor of Bolívar state, after winning the regional and municipal elections held on Sunday, November 21.

«For Chávez, for the Homeland and for my Beloved Bolívar state ... We are going to change everything that needs to be changed because with Nicolás Maduro, Venezuela will follow the path of prosperity and greatness«, the newly elected governor wrote in his account on the social network Twitter.

Marcano won the elections last Sunday with 42.07% of the votes.

"We are happy for the beginning of the new victories and the good news that comes for our people because we are in union, and we know that together we do better!", Wrote the mayor of the Caroní municipality, Tito Oviedo, on his Twitter account .
