Venezuela strengthens energy cooperation with Trinidad and Tobago

Minister Tareck El Aissami held a working day with his counterpart Stuart Young

A delegation from the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, holds a meeting with representatives of Trinidad and Tobago in Caracas, to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between both peoples in matters of energy, gas and oil. 

In images transmitted by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the arrival in the country of the Minister of Energy of Trinidad and Tobago, Stuart Young, was announced, who was received by the Sectoral Vice President of the Economic Area, tarek The Aissami. 

Both authorities held a working session to review the cooperation agenda that both nations have maintained for more than a decade. 

On March 22, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, received Edmund Dillon's credentials at the Miraflores Palace, accrediting him as the new ambassador of Trinidad and Tobago in the country.

These actions are part of the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace, a concept promoted by the Venezuelan Head of State, which enacts respect and support for the peoples of the world, taking into account the right to self-determination of the nations of the world.
