The Superintendency of Institutions of the Banking Sector (Sudeban) ordered the suspension of banking activities by agencies in the regions where the radical quarantine of the Covid-19 pandemic continues, reported this Sunday in a circular published by Banco de Venezuela on the social network Twitter

"Regarding the seven-day period of the phase of easing quarantine in the banking sector, they will not be applicable to agencies that are located in areas where the National Executive maintains the rigor of the measures," the text cites.

In the rest of the cases, the agencies must offer attention to the public between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. for both individuals and legal entities.

On the other hand, they urged members of banks, public and private, to guarantee and encourage the use of electronic means of payment in order to prevent the spread of the virus.

In addition, the attention must prevent crowds in the ticket offices and bank offices, applying the necessary sanitary preventive measures such as the compulsory use of masks or masks, as well as the distance between people.
