They review strategies to promote development of the gas industry

In order to debate strategies to strengthen the gas business and its national development prospects, the Minister of Petroleum, Pedro Tellechea, chaired a meeting of the Board of Directors of Pdvsa Gas, in the city of Anaco, Anzoátegui state.

This was announced by Tellechea, through his account on the social network to continue strengthening recovery and growth in the face of illegal sanctions.”

In this sense, the president of PDVSA also said that the meeting analyzed in detail the operational objectives and goals set for the year 2024. In addition, financial issues, hiring plans and performance indicators were addressed, with the purpose of comply with strategic actions towards achieving objectives. 

The executive vice president of PDVSA, Héctor Obregón, participated in the meeting; the vice president of Gas and president of Pdvsa Gas, Luis González; the vice minister of Gas and director of Offshore, Paula Henao; and the vice president of Pdvsa Gas, director of Processing, David Molina Ortiz; and other members of the Board of Directors of Petróleos de Venezuela SA (PDVSA).

Venezuela has proven gas reserves of 195 trillion cubic feet, which places it in ninth place worldwide, so the recovery plan of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, includes optimizing the processes and evaluate new perspectives in order to increase proven reserves and promote the country as a secure provider of clean energy, highlighted the PDVSA team.
