23 tour operators from Iran arrive in Venezuela to promote tourism

This Tuesday, a Business Roundtable will be held to strengthen relations between Caracas and Tehran in the tourism field, at the Venetur hotel in Margarita, Nueva Esparta state.

A total of 23 tour operators from Iran arrived in Venezuela on Monday as part of the actions to promote comprehensive tourism between the two nations, reported the Minister of People's Power for Tourism, Ali Padrón.

Through his Twitter account, the minister specified that the tour operators arrive in the country "in compliance with the Implementation Program in Tourism Cooperation between MINTUR and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of the Islamic Republic of Iran 2021-2023" .

Likewise, the territorial vice president in the state of Nueva Esparta, José Gregorio Vielma Mora, confirmed the arrival of the tour operators through his Twitter account, ratifying that "the Bolivarian Government of our President Nicolás Maduro continues to be committed to positioning our Homeland in the world loved".

Minister Alí Padrón also reported that on June 14, a Business Roundtable aimed at strengthening relations between Caracas and Tehran in the tourism field will be held at the Venetur hotel in Margarita, Nueva Esparta state.

For the Minister of Tourism, thanks to "peace diplomacy, we are committed to positioning and promoting the best of our multi-destination and megadiverse country to the nations of the world."

Caracas-Tehran route to be inaugurated

The Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services (Conviasa) announced the start of commercial flights between the capitals of Venezuela and Iran from 18 June next.

The information was released by the president of Conviasa and Minister for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, who through his Twitter account explained that the Caracas-Tehran route will operate every 15 days, and special rates will be offered for the inaugural flight.

It should be remembered that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his official visit to Iran as part of his Eurasian tour, met with his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, and other high-level government delegations to sign several exchange agreements. in key sectors such as energy, transport, tourism and agriculture.
