This Monday the Presentation of the image of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Carabobo was held, from the Junín Theater in Caracas. In that scenario, they talked about the symbols that gave rise to the illustration.
The Minister for Communication and Information, Freddy Ñáñez indicated in this regard that it was not easy to condense so many ideas from the imaginary in the illustration. However, he indicated that three were those words: La arepa (corn food), Los Tepuyes (in landscapes) and Cuatro, referring to music.
As for who is the character that most identifies Venezuela, Ñáñez said that 80 percent of those consulted said that Simón Bolívar, as the ethical reference of Venezuelans.
Ñáñez commented that to inquire about the icons of the image of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Carabobo, they consulted the population through social networks to find out what were the words that identified the name of Venezuela.
To commemorate the 200 years of the Battle and Victory of Carabobo, to be held on June 24, 2021, the Bicentennial Commission was installed in compliance with the guidelines issued by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in order to take charge of address different lines of action such as communication, cultural, educational and historical, to highlight the milestones of Venezuelan history in all its dimensions for the knowledge of the people./AVN
