The Battle of Carabobo will be commemorated with "Al descampado"

Cast members of the National Dance Company will participate in the multimedia show

The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, reported this Monday that through the multimedia show "Al descampado", the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Carabobo is being commemorated.

The event will be developed with music through a playful experience where the senses and human poetics will travel an important piece of our history, said the minister in his account on the social network Twitter.

This representation will tell the experiences of the strangers (the people), the peasant turned into a centaur, the artist in love who was a soldier, the women who fed the troops and also fought as warriors.

“Today from La Casona Cultural #AquilesNazoa we made a formal announcement of the show that will bring together Venezuelan talent in music, dance, theater, circus and audiovisual 2, 3 and # 4Jul in Espejo de agua del Paseo La Nacionalidad with bio-security measures for the public and artists on stage ”, said the minister.

He stressed that casts from the National Dance Company, Teresa Contemporary Dance Company, National Circus of Venezuela, National Theater Company, National System of Orchestras and invited artists will participate in the multimedia show, whose rehearsals begin this Tuesday, March 2.

It will take place in the emblematic Water Mirror of Paseo La Nacionalidad Caracas, under the direction of the theater, circus and staging will be Jericó Montilla. In the choreographic direction, Félix Oropeza. In musical composition, Andrés Levell. Production and general direction, Institute of the scenic and musical arts.

Villegas explained that the activities related by the Presidential Commission of the Bicentennial of the Battle of Carabobo, will also be led and directed by the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez.
