Russian actor Andrei Miagkov, one of the most admired figures in Soviet cinema, died at the age of 82, the artist's environment reported on Thursday.
According to preliminary data, the cause of Miagkov's death was heart failure.

from this country presented their condolences for the death of the well-known actor.
The Kremlin's cultural adviser, Vladimir Tolstoy, pointed out that for most Russians, Miagkov's passing is "like losing
to a relative. He was our friend, a person loved by all, ”said Tolstoy.
Born in 1938 in Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg), Miagkov made his big screen debut in 1965 in The Adventures of a Dentist.
He rose to fame after co-starring in the films Irony of Destiny (1975) and Office Romance (1977), directed by the well-known
Soviet filmmaker Eldar Ryazanov. For a few decades, the film has been broadcast every year during the New Year holidays.
