On May 12, the documentary will be released The World the Pause, audiovisual that recounts a day of confinement caused by the covid-19 pandemic in 23 Ibero-American countries.
The material seeks a collective portrait of various experiences derived from the quarantine and reflects the social, racial and cultural plurality of the participating countries.
The 23 participating countries are: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Republic Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.
During the premiere, all participating artists will hold a virtual meeting with the public. The material will be available on YouTube for three consecutive days.
El Mundo en Pausa is a collaborative co-production between 26 artists from the audiovisual industry from all over Latin America, Spain and Portugal, who came together on April 30, 2020 to record everyday life in their countries.
The co-production was promoted and led by Visiona TV, an independent production house located in Spain that manages content for film and television, committed to quality, combining dynamism, youth and experience.
“The human essence emerges from the fragments of life captured in the various territories, passing through the emotions of frustration, joy and pandemic strangeness. The film is a memory for posterity of the year in which we paused the world, it is also a tribute to resilience ”, says the press information of the production company.
