Fanb seized 25 kilos of cocaine

I intended to reach Brazil and then to Spain

Members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) arrested a citizen with dual nationality (Dominican-Venezuelan) when he was moving through a checkpoint with twenty-five kilograms of liquid cocaine, impregnated with clothing.

The event occurred in La Romana, Upata, Bolívar state. The information was provided by the Fanb's Operational Strategic Commander, Domingo Hernández Lárez, in his account in Bolivar. When he passed through the La Romana checkpoint and control point, the authorities seized the drugs that were hidden in his luggage.

It was determined that the 25 kilos of liquid cocaine were impregnated with clothing, a new modality used by so-called mules for drug trafficking.
It turned out that the citizen was traveling from the city of Cúcuta and intended to arrive in Brazil and later board a direct flight to Spain.

He said that the State remains in the frontal fight against the scourge of drug trafficking to exercise sovereignty and territorial integrity in a democratic State of social justice, which also "is neither a producer nor a consumer of drugs, those are not national customs."
