Yhilmer José Tovar González, alias Yilmer, one of the 10 most wanted criminals in Miranda, was killed during a confrontation with members of the Cicpc-El Llanito, the scientific police reported on their social networks.
The police agents tried to arrest the subject in the El Winche sector, Filas de Mariche, Sucre municipality in Miranda state, but the man pulled out a .380 firearm and exchanged shots, leaving him badly injured, according to the Cicpc version. Later, he was taken to the Domingo Luciani hospital where he died.
Yilmer presented a request by the 27th Court of Control of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas for qualified intentional homicide, executed with treachery and futile motives, in a degree of frustration. But in addition, the subject was being investigated in six homicides, four robberies, an extortion and death threat.
Yilmer was associated with the head of Pineapple gangster group which operates in Filas de Mariches. The Prosecutor's Office was informed of the operation.
