The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, announced through his account on the social network Twitter @TarekWilliamSaab that the Public Ministry will investigate the governor of Anzoátegui, Antonio Barreto Sira, for fraudulently omitting the investment of resources to avoid obstruction of the spillway channel of the Neverí river.

Likewise, it reported that the 5th Anzoátegui and 55 National prosecutors were appointed, who investigate the alleged crimes of improper disposal of waste Art. 100 Criminal Law of the Environment and Aggravated Embezzlement, Art. 59 of the Decree with rank, value and force of Law against the corruption.
