Discovered 131 cocaine packs hidden in egg cartons

The Bolivarian National Guard detected 131 cocaine packs in Barinas that they were transporting hidden in egg cartons, military sources said. 

The procedure was carried out at the “Punta de Piedra” Citizen Service Point, located in Barinas, where the troops of Detachment 332 detained a Chevrolet Silverado cava-type vehicle, plate A31AK01 from San Cristóbal (Tac) and headed to Nueva Sparta.  

The cellar was subjected to inspection and they observed the drug packs camouflaged with egg cartons. The cocaine shipment yielded a weight of 154 kilos 710 grams. In the operation, the two occupants of the vehicle were detained, identified as José Elfa Roger Delgado and Félix Gómez Ortiz, from whom they also seized 200 thousand Colombian pesos.  

The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry.
