Four individuals dedicated to extortion collection were captured by agents of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), according to military sources.
One of the detainees is identified as Luis Maicker Pérez Tovar, who was captured in the Curva de Molina sector, Maracaibo municipality, Zulia state, in response to a complaint made to the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) No. 11.
Pérez Tovar is a member of the organization founded by Erick Alberto Parra Mendoza (Yeico Masacre).
Also in Zulia, but this time in the JL Ford sector, Simón Bolívar municipality (Tía Juana), Conas agents arrested Jorge Luis Gutiérrez, a member of the criminal group founded by Yeferson José Nava Jiménez, alias Yet Nava, also dedicated to committing extortion against merchants and businessmen.
Another member of the Yet Nava organization was arrested on Intercomunal Avenue, Cabimas municipality, Zulia state and was identified as Daniel Alejandro Piña Palmar, from whom two 9 mm pistols (Browning PGP and Beretta PX4 Storm) with their respective magazines, fifteen unexploded cartridges and a telephone equipment, according to a report from Detachment 113 of the GNB.
Finally, in Valle de la Pascua (Guárico), officials assigned to Conas No. 34 arrested Víctor Manuel Quintana Ramos, associated with the Oscar de Jesús del Llano group, cataloged as one of the cells of the Tren del Llano organization who charges in dollars. extortion of small and medium-sized rural producers, according to investigations.
The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry to be prosecuted for extortion, among other crimes.
