The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, reported that for this Monday in Venezuela 632 new cases of community transmission and nine infections in compatriots from abroad were detected.
She specified that national cases were registered in 17 entities of the country, the five with the highest incidence of infections being the states of Zulia (118), Miranda (100), Táchira (87), Carabobo (81) and the Capital District (76). Regarding the imported cases, she indicated that they are nine Venezuelans from Mexico with entry through La Guaira.

She stressed that currently 113.328 people have recovered, while the number of active cases stands at 6.004 infections.
She indicated that as a result of complications caused by covid-19, six people died. They are a 74-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man living in Trujillo state; an 87-year-old woman and a 4-month-old girl from Yaracuy; a 70-year-old man from the Capital District and an 86-year-old man from Mérida.
With these figures, Venezuela accumulates 120.444 cases since the arrival of the pandemic, while the number of deaths stands at 1.112.
