Venezuela confirms detection of 1,325 new cases of covid-19

Health teams have been deployed to carry out PCR tests in the communities.

This Saturday the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez reported that for this Saturday the presence of 1,296 new cases due to community transmission and 29 infections detected in people from abroad was confirmed.

In messages published through his account on the social network Twitter, it appears that the five entities with the highest number of confirmed infections are Miranda (230); Caracas (223); La Guaira (148); Yaracuy (123) and Aragua (92). Regarding the imported cases, it indicates that 22 are from Panama with entry through Carabobo, 4 from the Dominican Republic with entry through La Guaira and 3 from Mexico with entry through Carabobo.

Regarding the deceased, he specified that they are 2 women of 66 and 1 woman of 40 years; 2 men aged 67 and 50 residing in Caracas; 2 women of 63 and 68 years of Miranda; 1 61-year-old man from Nueva Esparta; 1 woman 59 years old and 3 men of 68, 65 and 69 years old from Sucre; 3 men aged 65, 67 and 60 from Anzoátegui; 1 woman of 82 and 1 man of 66 years of Lara and 1 woman of 79 years and 2 men of 57 and 56 years of Guárico.

He highlighted that of the total confirmed cases that to date are located at 173.786 people, 156.472 (90%) have recovered, 15.555 are receiving treatment and 1.759 have died.
