Venezuelan Stephany Zreik was crowned Miss Air, which meant her the position of vice-queen of the 2020 edition of Miss Earth.
Zreik trailed behind United States Representative Lindsey Coffey, who won the victory at a virtual gala held on Saturday, November 28 in the Philippines.
Due to the pandemic, this year's edition of the beauty pageant was all online. The young women participated in the activities, sending material. It is, also, the first international contest that a queen chooses during this year, since the other biggest ones postponed their coronations until 2021.
Zreik was one of the favorites to obtain the crown, since during the preliminary competitions she obtained three gold and two bronze medals. The golds corresponded to the challenges of swimsuit, sportswear and typical costume of the Americas, awarded this week by the contest.
Now, Zreik, along with the representatives of Denmark and the winner will travel to Manila to be crowned at a gala where they will be joined by Miss Philippines, who completed the honor roll for this election.
