Dudamel will direct “Symphony”, which mixes music with virtual reality

The conductor Gustavo Dudamel and the deputy general director of the “la Caixa” Foundation, Elisa Durán, recently inaugurated the permanent installation of “Symphony” at CaixaForum, Barcelona.

This project stands out by using virtual reality to travel to the heart of classical music, reports the EFE agency.

Under the baton of the prestigious Venezuelan conductor and with the participation of more than 60 musicians from the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, as well as 40 young musicians from 22 countries, the "Symphony" project will open to the public in CaixaForum next Saturday, allowing attendees to immerse themselves in music through virtual reality glasses.
