More than 400 students will benefit from the comprehensive restoration carried out by the Government, to the Villa Celestial educational unit, located in the UD 338 sector of the Unare parish, Caroní municipality.
After 12 years, the educational unit will reopen its doors again for the period 2023-2024, joining the 426 educational units throughout the municipality.
Governor Ángel Marcano inspected the work carried out and assured that once completed, the inhabitants of UD 338 will be able to register their constituents near their homes without generating transportation costs.
“This is what the revolution commanded by our brother President Nicolás Maduro is about. It was necessary to reactivate this school to improve the quality of life of the boys and girls of UD 338, which is why we are determined to build or restore each space for the good of communities,” Marcano said.
He assured that the aspects of education, health and sports will be in force in the entity's care plan, which is why he maintained that day by day the regional executive will add works of direct attention to the communities.
Materials to rehabilitate the school
The Governor pointed out that more than 600 sheets of frescolum, 150 buckets of paint and the weeding of the entire area were what was needed for this second and final stage of recovery.
The first stage consisted of debris removal, general cleaning and wall plastering.
