Phoenix Rise, the national tournament arrives on August 20

The event will feature tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Melee, 64, Guilty Gear: Strive, and Rivals of Aether.

The world of Gaming takes over the city of Caracas, under the organization of Seifuku Arcade, with the Phoenix Rise event. The mega tournament of fighting games that will take Venezuela to a completely digital world.

This August 20, the Hotel Pestana Caracas will be the stage destined to bring together all the players in the country and participate in the different categories, discover which are the best in their respective disciplines and much more.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros 64, Guilty Gear: Strive and Rivals of Aether will be some of the video games that will be present in a giant hall dedicated to gamer culture. Similarly, attendees will enjoy an Arcade Zone and friendly games of different video games.


With a registration cost to the different tournaments, the prices vary between $2 USD to $5 USD. The doors of the event will be open from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The ticket for a general attendee will have a value of $5 USD. However, you will be able to have VIP access for a payment of $20 USD. You'll receive benefits like priority event passes, hydration, snacks, exclusive Smash Ultimate setups, and more.

Alberto León, one of the main organizers of the event, offered his comments to Sports Leader, hoping that Phoenix Rise “will be the biggest Fighting Games tournament that Venezuela has had and I do it to show that we are many players of this type of games here in Venezuela. the country and those with the most history.”
