And it is that there are 2 contrary readings of that European march: one is the fanciful and arrogant one that Europe itself makes of itself, false from top to bottom; and the other is the realist who tries to stick to what Europe really is today to really understand what it is looking for and why it fails. It is that Europe does not see anything or understand anything. She believes that everything she has done in these 2 years of errors, crimes and nonsense has turned out well, that she is going from triumph to triumph, and she is not capable of discovering that her policy of servile submission to the US leads her directly to ruin. and into the abyss.
To me, the blind arrogance that Europe displays as a successful future for this new crisis that it is preparing makes me think of a famous painting by that great painter, Pieter Bruegel the Elder. This is the painting known as The Parable of the Blind, found in the Capo di Monte museum in Naples, painted by the artist in 1568. The painting is based on a gospel text attributed to Matthew, in which in paragraph 14 of chapter 15 Jesus' disciples approach him to inform him that his recent speech scandalized the Pharisees and Jesus tells them not to pay attention to them, that the Pharisees are blind leaders of the blind and that if a blind man leads another blind man inevitably both would fall into the pit together. In his painting, Bruegel represents a blind man who in a fast car guides 5 other happy blind men who, without realizing anything, go straight with him into the imminent abyss. But in reality, this is not a game and it is not fun. What Europe, always under the command of the US, organizes is a meeting of the G7, to which the European Union, which is today an active part of NATO, is also invited as a guest. And the meeting called for these days would take place in Japan, which was incorporated into NATO as a member in its last strategic meeting, which took place in Madrid in February or March of last year. Let's see what this means.
Until now, the G7 had not been a war-oriented body. It was not necessary. It was the instrument through which the richest and most powerful capitalist countries in the world, convinced that their rule would be eternal, met every year under the direction of the United States and under its neoliberal and globalizing optics to set the guidelines that defined that accepted definitive domination. tamely by the rest of the world. Created in 1975 as G6, it reached G7 adding Canada and G8 after the end of the Soviet Union incorporating Russia unworthy of Yelsin. But he returned to the G7 expelling Russia which, in response to the US coup in Ukraine to hand over power to its neo-Nazis, recaptured Crimea in 2014 and then, following a further conditional attempt to re-admit it, was rejected by Putin as he opposed the absolute and eternal hegemony of the United States, proposing in its place a multipolar and egalitarian system that China, India, Brazil and South Africa, among others, were also beginning to defend.
But today all this is different. All these organisms, which are dominated by the US, have become military or are already militarized at its service. And directly or underhandedly all are at war against Russia and / or preparing war against China. The other G7 countries (Canada. Britain, the Netherlands, Germany, and France go bankrupt handing billions of dollars worth of arms and cash to Ukraine, while training hundreds of mercenaries and hiding or defending all their crimes, arranged as they are. ordered by the US to achieve the impossible goal of crushing Russia while in the midst of their madness they prepare to attack China, and for its part, Japan increases and arms its army and demands new weapons to prepare a big war against China. The same thing that Australia does, controlled by the US, which baselessly accuses China that it is going to invade it in a few years. All this is crazy, the work of the US, because China, which promotes free trade and exchanges between countries, does not prepare any war against anyone.
And it is the US, obsessed with stopping the unstoppable growth of China with a war, which is occupying with bases and mercenaries every island or islet in the South China Sea, which looks more like a US sea thousands of miles from its shores. Nothing strange because the whole world: skies, lands and seas, belong to it to the point that, willing as it is to maintain its world hegemony at all costs in the midst of the growing crisis and decadence that besets it, the US has declared war on the world: sanctions, threats, blockades, blatant theft of international reserves, and even miserable robberies against oil-producing countries such as Syria, Iran or Venezuela, from which their ships and oil are stolen on the high seas.
But there is more and it is important. The meeting of this G7 takes place in Japan, which is not strange since with Osaka and Yokohama, Japan has hosted it in previous years. But the headquarters of this militaristic G7 that with the EU and NATO that accompany it aims to prepare an upcoming US nuclear war against Russia and China is the Japanese city of Hiroshima, which received the first of the 1945 atomic bombs in 2. The US launched on Japanese civilian populations causing hundreds of thousands of deaths.
And it is that Hiroshima is a symbol of peace and its monument against war and nuclear weapons is still there to remind the world of that horrendous crime of the United States. After the surrender of Japan and the end of the World War, all Japanese prime ministers have been subservient to the US right, but the Hiroshima memorial is an indelible memory of that crime. Making this warmongering meeting promoting a nuclear war even more lethal than World War II is an open aggression against that worthy monument. I don't know if it was the US to humiliate Japan or Japan to drag more, the one that proposed that the venue for that meeting be Hiroshima. But it would not be strange if this was followed by the demolition of the Hiroshima monument that no longer even moves the Japanese themselves to replace it with a huge statue of Truman, bigger than the Buddha of Kamakura, with open arms and holding in each hand a bomb, each with its own name: Hiroshima and Nagasaki. There is no doubt that a monument like that would be more in keeping with the brutal and blind criminal violence of these terrible times.
