Although in Venezuela the decree of state of emergency for the covid-19 pandemic is still in force, seven international routes are open, said the president of the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (Inac), Juan Teixeira Díaz.
He clarified that commercial air operations with Mexico, Turkey, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Russia, Bolivia and Cuba will continue, as well as air operations at the national level.
Referring to the application of biosafety protocols to avoid contagion of covid-19, he assured that these are still underway and under strict supervision, AVN reported.
“There are no obstacles imposed to stop us. The Bolivarian Government has guaranteed the vaccination plan, as well as the implementation of the biosafety protocols that have been a retaining wall against covid-19, "he said.
The Inac has reiterated that the measure to restrict the arrival and departure of flights, other than those already indicated, will be maintained until January 18, 2022, and that only emergency, humanitarian, repatriation and overflights are allowed.
