She invited Venezuelan women to follow the agenda of peace, work, and hope.

The acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, issued a heartfelt message on International Women's Day, in which she recognized the tireless work of Venezuelan women. Through her official channels, the acting president expressed her profound respect for the women of the nation and the world, underscoring their crucial role in guiding the country's destiny. Rodríguez emphasized that female leadership is the driving force behind achieving the stability the country currently needs.

The head of the Executive Branch called for the consolidation of a common agenda that prioritizes collective well-being and social harmony. "From the bottom of my heart, today I recognize every woman in Venezuela and the world. Let us remain united in a single agenda: that of peace, work, and hope," the acting president stated. This proposal seeks to unify the efforts of all women's sectors around economic recovery and the strengthening of democratic institutions within a climate of national understanding.

“In the midst of all the difficulties, all the storms, we as women are bringing this ship to a safe harbor for the peace and future of our sons and daughters,” the president said in the video.

In her statement, the interim president linked the daily efforts of women to the future of Venezuelan youth. She emphasized that the work being done today has the ultimate goal of guaranteeing a safe and prosperous environment for the nation's sons and daughters. According to Rodríguez, building the Republic demands the active and supportive participation of women, who possess the capacity to guide the country toward a "safe harbor" through love and unwavering dedication.

Rodríguez concluded her message by reaffirming the historic mission of Venezuelan women to build a new model of society together. "For the love of the Republic that we are called to build together," she stated, closing her call for unity. This pronouncement reinforces the government's policy of positioning women as the central axis of social transformation, especially in a context where female leadership is assuming the reins of political leadership in the Venezuelan state.
