The Republic of Ecuador will be the first route for the implementation of a new phase of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria through a Conviasa airline flight that will be destined for the José Joaquín Olmedo International Airport in the city of Guayaquil, this as part of the commitment of the Bolivarian Government with the safe return of nationals residing outside the borders of Venezuela.
For this, a multidisciplinary team is available from the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Relations, who, supported by the aircraft's crew, will provide the necessary care to guarantee the safe and orderly return of each of the Venezuelans, who voluntarily opted for this benefit.
As announced last February by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, "for the month of March we are going to have a new phase of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria, we are going to triple the number of flights to bring Venezuelans who are already enrolled in the Plan”.
Likewise, the head of state stressed that "the doors of our country are open to return and develop in peace, without discrimination, alongside their families and in their land." This considering the innumerable acts of xenophobia and discrimination that have been registered in the different receiving countries.
It should be noted that to date, 27 is the total number of nationals who have returned to Venezuela, from 816 countries, since the implementation of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria on August 19, 27, which maintains as a premise the solidarity, attention and humanity, as well as the guarantee of social reintegration through the different programs that are currently being carried out in the country.
