Migration Colombia began this Monday a series of six massive deliveries of Permits for Temporary Protection (PPT) to Venezuelan migrants.
This document will allow compatriots in Colombia to regularize their stay in that country and start an integration process towards access to rights and duties.

The Director General also reported that according to figures from Migración Colombia, of the close to 2.5 million Venezuelan migrants who began their pre-registration in the ETPV application, they have authorized more than 1.6 million permits and that close to 1.5 million already have their PPT.

- Vaccination in the permanent scheme and scheme against covid-19.
- Attention to requests for affiliation to an EPS (Health Promoting Entities).
- Request for a survey from Sisbén (System for the Identification of Potential Beneficiaries of Social Programs).
- Attention of local mayors and Coexistence Managers.
- Information on the Mass Transportation System.
- Legal accompaniment in crimes that affect the migrant population.
- Information on programs aimed at migrant women.
- Advice on school access routes for children and adolescents who are currently without school.
Cooperation and articulation
For his part, the Spanish ambassador in Colombia, Joaquín De Arístegui, pointed out that the Spanish Cooperation has committed 100 million euros for projects in Venezuela and the region.
"More than 30% have been invested in Colombia to promote comprehensive care, which guarantees the rights of both migrants and returnees, and to promote the processes of social and economic integration," said De Arístegui.
For the mayoress of Bogotá, Claudia López, the willingness of the city to be the home of this operation, one of the largest that has been carried out in Colombia since 2021, has been essential.
