Between five and ten dynamic account units (equivalent in euros, according to the BCV rate) must be paid in taxes for a motorcycle in the Libertador municipality of Caracas.
This tax must be paid in the first quarter of the year, the Municipal Tax Administration Superintendency, attached to the mayor's office, reported on its Instagram account.
The amount varies according to the engine displacement: motorcycles under 200 cc pay 5 UCD. Those with an engine displacement between 200 cc and 400 cc must pay 7 UCD.
For motorcycles over 400cc, the tax is 10 UCD. Sport motorcycles, regardless of engine size, also pay 10 UCD.
To fulfill this commitment, the taxpayer must access the portal caracas.sigate.net and follow the website's specifications.
Other municipalities
In Chacao, payment is made through oficinavirtualchacao.gob.ve. Payments can be made until February 9th.
In Sucre, you must visit the website sucre.sigat.net; in Baruta, taxes are paid through alcaldiabaruta.gob.ve/tramites/semat/.
In El Hatillo, you must access elhatillo.net.ve/appweb. Until January 31st, all these municipalities are offering a 10% discount.
