A new group of 250 compatriots returned to Mexico this Thursday on a Conviasa flight, which landed this morning at Simón Bolívar International Airport in La Guaira. The flight arrived from Mexico, thanks to the Return to the Homeland Plan.
Through the repatriation program, migrants returned voluntarily due to their vulnerable situation abroad.
In total, 83 women, 59 men, 51 girls, and 59 boys have been guaranteed comprehensive, humane medical care.
In an atmosphere of effusiveness and profound patriotism, representatives of the Venezuelan state welcomed this new group of Venezuelans who arrived in the country after being subjected to the policy of persecution and acts of violence promoted by the United States government.
After disembarking, migrants repatriated in Venezuela pass through a migration tunnel, where each person is interviewed to review their case; they then receive medical attention and are then transported to their homes by security forces.
Thanks to the deployment of 150 healthcare professionals, they were provided with initial triage and vital signs assessment services, as well as epidemiological monitoring using rapid testing to detect communicable diseases.
In addition, they received consultations in gynecology, pediatrics, and general medicine, as well as vaccinations and the delivery of essential medications, to ensure the health of our Venezuelan brothers and sisters.
It is worth noting that to date, more than 5 Venezuelan migrants have returned as part of the efforts promoted by the Bolivarian Government through the Great Mission Return to the Homeland to ensure the safe return of their compatriots.
