Representatives of the Foundation for Hospital Buildings and Equipment (Fundeeh), attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Health, inspected the progress of the Dr. José Gregorio Hernández Comprehensive Hospital Rehabilitation Plan at the Vargas Hospital in Caracas.
They toured the facilities with the management of the healthcare center in order to verify the progress of the works to optimize medical care for citizens.
The rehabilitation work includes the complete transformation of the spaces through the optimization of vital and electrical systems, the adaptation of clinical areas, the renovation of facades and interiors, and the sanitation of the exteriors, according to a press release from the ministry.
This initiative seeks to directly improve hospital infrastructure in order to guarantee dignified spaces for both medical staff and patients.
The deployment that is maintained at the hospital responds to the guidelines of the national Executive which are aimed at strengthening the public health system in the country.
