The Bolivarian Government launched a rigorous contingency plan in the state of Aragua, focused primarily on providing psychological and psychiatric care to the population affected by the recent emergency in the state resulting from the seismic events of June 24.
The Ministry of Health released the information through a post on its Telegram channel. The deployment is being coordinated directly by the Aragua State Health Corporation (Corposalud), which has activated the entire network of hospitals and clinics in the region. Medical and specialist personnel are deployed in vulnerable areas, conducting outreach and direct contact with the communities.
The main objective of this operation is to mitigate the emotional impact and post-traumatic stress in both the affected families and the receiving communities that provide them with support, guaranteeing comprehensive health support during the contingency.
