The Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, visited the facilities of the Land Transit Directorate of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), regarding the supervision of the Safe Christmas 2022 plan.
"During his visit, he greeted the officials of this institution and invited them to continue their preventive work," the ministry said on its Twitter account.
Ceballos stressed that in 2023 they will continue to advance and that the achievements of this 2022 have been many, including the decrease in violent crimes.
"We have been fighting crime with praxis, science; according to data from the Venezuelan Observatory of Citizen Security," he said, according to the publication.
He added that more than 600.000 prevention activities have been carried out, with the Great Peace Quadrants Mission.
He stressed that they have police professionals to guarantee life and peace.
Likewise, through his personal account on the social platform, Ceballos indicated that, "2023 will be a year of progress, rebirth and revolution in terms of citizen security."
"With resistance and popular power, we will relaunch the road issue to guarantee the enjoyment of citizens' rights and the guarantee of compliance with our duties," he said.
