The Amazonas State Directorate of Environmental Health conducted a technical update session aimed at optimizing the diagnosis and health response to malaria in the state.
The academic meeting took place in the multipurpose room of the Health Directorate, where a specialized group of microscopists from the Luis Alberto Gómez and Fernando Girón Tovar parishes delved into the scientific schemes necessary for addressing epidemiological events in order to unify the scientific criteria that allow for early and accurate detection.
The technical training allowed specialists to update their knowledge in the handling of immediate action protocols and the rigorous identification of cases in vulnerable areas.
Thanks to this capacity building, the entity's health personnel now have more robust methodological tools to provide a timely response to potential outbreaks, ensuring that each diagnosis meets the standards of excellence required by the National Public Health System.
This coordinated work with the Ministry of Popular Power for Health not only raises the technical quality of laboratory personnel, but also guarantees more humane and efficient care for all communities.
