The facades of 500 homes were rehabilitated in the Estrella del Sur Commune, located in the upper part of sector 3 of El Cementerio, Santa Rosalía parish of Caracas.
Juan Ramírez, Minister of Public Works, stated on Instagram that 575 families in the community benefited from the technical work, which included the removal of deteriorated friezes, restoration of facades, new plastering, and painting of walls.
The actions are an integral part of the restoration project initiated in September at the point and circle of the South General Cemetery, which has already reached 90% completion.
The central focus of the project is the construction of a 480-meter road that will have a social impact on 13.500 families in the Santa Eduviges neighborhood and the Estrella del Sur Commune.
So far, 5.500 square meters of the facilities have been renovated, which includes the beautification and restoration of historical spaces such as the main entrance, monuments, mausoleums, central chapel, administrative offices and flower stalls.
To ensure the speed of the work, two teams of 120 workers each were deployed. The work was carried out in 12-hour shifts (day and night), with work only ceasing on Sundays to avoid interfering with visits to the site.

Very good!
Site of my paternal grandparents' home and many of my mischievous adventures during my childhood.
So much love and such a good example!
