The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, reported this Wednesday on the delivery of three-wheeled motorcycles, construction materials and supplies to the community brigades of the Pueblos Caribe Corridor, in the Sucre parish, in order to attend to the buildings affected by the earthquakes.

"The community reconstruction brigades of the Pueblos Caribe Corridor, in the Sucre parish, are now being strengthened with equipment to attend to the buildings that suffered damage from the earthquakes, as well as the educational centers," he indicated through his Instagram account.

He explained that the donation benefited the Agroecological Tourist communes El Gran Topo, Gual and España, as well as Guaicamacuto, Bicentenario El Limón and Un nuevo día.

He also mentioned that seven construction kits were delivered to the same number of community organizations that have their own three-wheeled motorcycles and are active in the territories.

"We arrived here with Operation Caracas Smiles and Reborn, specifically in the Blandín commune in Victoria, and offered services to serve the 2.377 families who reside here," he highlighted.

Meléndez emphasized that the outreach event will last three consecutive days, with the goal of reaching communities in the Seven Transformations.
