In the state of Lara (Barquisimeto) the School Textile Plan 2026-2027 is already underway, which includes the stages of production, logistics and supply for the manufacture of school uniforms.
The information was provided by the president of the Single Fund for Productive Financing of the State of Lara (Fonfip), Wendy Bravo, in the middle of a strategic meeting with seamstresses and entrepreneurs of the textile sector in the Andrés Eloy Blanco municipality (Sanare).
He explained that in that town they will work in an articulated manner with the talent of the Municipal Economic Development Fund (Fondaeb).
The school textile plan in the state of Lara will be implemented with the direct provision of financed raw materials to local entrepreneurs, guaranteeing school clothing at affordable prices for the community and boosting the region's productive economy, the official noted.
Looking ahead to the start of the new school year, Bravo emphasized: "Supporting entrepreneurs in this sector is fundamental, as they not only produce low-cost clothing but also boost the economy of Lara state, fulfilling the directives of our governor, Luis Reyes Reyes."
Currently, Fonfip is determining the number of textile entrepreneurs in each of the nine municipalities to define the contributions and raw materials to be distributed according to the school enrollment of the sectors with less purchasing power.
