With a positive outcome exceeding 10.000 children served throughout the Cojedes region, the community vacation plan "August Open Schools" has concluded, an initiative that transformed educational establishments into centers of comprehensive care, healthy recreation and learning during the school break.
Petra Nervo, state director of the Center for the Development of Educational Quality (Cdce) Cojedes, offered details of the closing of this deployment, which was carried out simultaneously in selected educational institutions in the nine municipalities of the state.
"We have concluded this day with deep satisfaction, fulfilling our goal of bringing joy, education, and care to the future generations of our nation. More than 10.000 children enjoyed a varied program that included recreational activities, cultural events, academic support, and sports competitions," Nervo emphasized.
The education authority emphasized that the success of the day is due to the perfect coordination between the institutions and the organized communities, highlighting the commitment of the recreation groups, teaching staff, administrative staff, workers, cooks of the nation and street leaders, who kept the schools active and open to serve the people.
“The August Open Schools plan not only guaranteed recreation in a safe environment, but also strengthened the values of coexistence, teamwork, and identity in our children. We thank every family in Cojedes for their trust and the entire multidisciplinary team that made it possible for the schools to continue being the epicenter of the community,” concluded the director of the Cojedes CDCE.
